And updates on the Day

Hello there,

So here it goes I will just update abit of my Wedding event here and oh yeay I have not been exposing myself but today I will. And today will be a summary of the wedding day. Less Talking but more pictures. 

6 A.M - I woke up (Perform the necessary)
7.30 A.M - Mak Andam came to make up for me. We have a great time talking and joking with each other. Here I already felt butterfly in the tummy flying here and there.

10.00A.M - Both photographer and videographer arrived taking my picture of getting ready. Both videoman and photographer keep reminding me to smile.

11.00 A.M. All Set and ready and proceed to the venue.

 Groom Arrival. I was worried that he will get nervous and takle nafas sekali.

Alhamdullilah I was shock that he manage to lafas sekali jek. But my dad caught up a lil bit by saying "Muhammad Farid Binte Ramlan aku nikahkan kau", and everyone start laughing. Hehe. 

My Mum and my 2 orang kuat there. Yeap I was crying because from that day onward I am no longer under my father care its under my husband. :(

Alhamdullilah, we manage to do the Sunnah. And Yeay! Kite Dah Halal. Dah boleh peluk2 dah. 

His Family & My Family

We manage to do a music video shot as my package comes with it. I have supporting cuzz from both mum and dad side and frenz toooo!! Alhamdullilah.

After that we changed for 2nd outfit. 2.15PM for bertandang.

That heavy sanggul Lintang which I have to tahan. Arghhh!!!!!

My 3 org kuat ensure me not to stress when the groom come a lil late for berrtandang!! The moment when I lose my concentrate in smiling and juggling with the sanggul lintang.

The performance of kompang after the gantry. Haha. Got to say that Akrab did well in their performance. I was on a "Masam" face and I actually cheer up upon looking their performance. Thank GOD for that!! :)

 I have to said that the part suap menyuap my husband did a good job without dropping any rice on his palm. Where I drop most of it!!  

Its time for a change and proceed to the guy side. I was excited to change my outfit becoz my eyes start its nonsense already amd I cant wait for the ceremony to end. 

And yesh that the end, We missed doing this but if possible we just want to have a few baju so tk penat hahaha!

So far Alhamdullilah all went well and I appreciate all my family members who help and sponsored me certain things. My friends for being a great help. Yes, we are legally husband and wife now. This is just the beginning of a new chapter. Hoping that we both stay strong till Jannah. InShaaAllah. 

So on the 19th Jan 15. We went for outdoor photoshoot at Gardens by the Bay and Marina Barrage. It was quite a fast game coz I want to finish early and Abang Nazri need to do some errand for his father tahlil. Oh did I tell you that unfortunately Abg Nazri can't be on my wedding event coz his father passed away on my wedding day. Pity him. When he was with us on the photoshoot he look lost abit, me and farid understand and put ourself in his situation and not trying to make him difficult. Alhamdullilah we managed to finish everything less than 4 hours. So here's the unedited preview and with this Im signing off. And the next post will be about my vendor. :)

Monday 12th Jan 2015 & Tuesday 13th Jan 2015

Pre wedding sickness attacked the then Fiance and me. I had bad migraine and Then fiance was having flu on n off for that one week. I don't know why but is these stress that we going thru or what. Haha! I went back home bath and goes to sleep Knock down even I skipped my Solat! I hate it when I have bad Migraine. Eyes got blurred and head aching like madness. I got better the next day and continue finishing up packing my berkat as my berkat and candy corner came on the 10th of Jan. Bought my 1000 toblerone berkat for $950 from HERE. And the packaging my bought at Terengganu Mydin RM$39.50 fr 1000 pieces. Cheap or what? Manage to finished it early then expected.

Wednesday 14th Jan 2015

My last day of work before I am on leave from 15th Jan to 27th Jan. I manage to closed all my account and go back home on time and proceed to the Benefits Cosmetic at Sephora Tampines since it is near to my work place and a place where not much people making appointment. So set appointment at 6pm. Joanne was there and she is doing the waxing for me I only did brow waxing which cost me $24.
I think waxing the brow doesn't bear me much pain as threading. And yeah the reviews from people around regarding the waxing was good and it is good and my brow is almost symmetrical. I love it!

It is not thin and I simply love it. So I book another appointment on my husband birthday on the 3rd of Feb with Joanne. Yeay!

Thursday 15th January 2015

Booked an appointment with Citra Ayu Bridal & Spa at 1030 am for the following package.

I didnt manage to take a picture so I will just roughly describe what it is like.
1stly I was taken to the sauna room which is small for 10 mins. Then proceed to the massage room.
The massage was a relax massage which I don't find it satisfying coz I am use to deep tissue massage maybe for those who don't like deep tissue massage can consider Citra Ayu. Then the masseuse apply lulur and body mask on my body which make me shiver of coldness. Haha. After the lulur I was given a choice to change the hand therapy to ear candling and I was happy! Lastly I head to the Ratu Flower Bath. The bathtub was filled with Flowers. And I simply like the bath! The Masseuse told me it was for the aura pengantin. After all the process end at 1pm I was sleepy and wanted to go home straight when my caterer called me to head down to my wedding venue and advise certain issue, so called mum to teman me.

Once settled, mum asked me follow her for last minute groceries shopping which I'm on my cranky mode already coz I want to sleep. So mum kelam kabut finish up the shopping and go home. I managed to catch some sleep for 1 hour when I woke up and prepare for my Henna Night.

6 P.M : My Henna artist from Rubyz Henna came over. It was supposed to be Mye Henna do the Inai but then she cant make it on time so She replaced her with Ruby. Got to say Ruby was a bubbly girl and always have topic to entertain me and my 3 bridesmaid. She keep reminding me not to be clumsy. I like simple henna so yeah here is the look. (I didn't managed to capture my bridesmaid henna)

I didn't add on minyak kapak coz I hate the smell but I add on Eucalyptus oil from young living to make the stain darker. These stain taken on Friday at 1PM it grew darker on my wedding day itslf. Thanks to my bridesmaid Shinas fr patiently putting me the essential oil on both hands and feet. And my bridesmaid nisa for reminding me to seat properly and all. Hehe. I withstand until 2 Am where I cant tahan that I need to pee and I peel everything off! Haha.





8.30PM : Kak Aida from Sweetz Gubahan came by to put up my wedding bridal room deco. I was amazed by her talent. And the colour I want is all beyond my expectation. The room deco is simple but sedap mata memandang, Ramai orang puji I tell You!! She and her husband is a great person! (You may see the full picture on her facebook).

Friday 16th Jan 15

One day before the event, in the morning I woke up freshen up and get ready to iron my Baju kurung, family outfits for the day and the event and cleaned up the house. (See I am not treated as a princess by my mum she is like macam orang dulu2 pengantin still need to do abit of work). There's a few guest dropped by in e afternoon because they cant attend for the actual day itself. So I still need to entertained them and serve them water.

After Maghrib, I still don't felt the nervous yet. I am still relax with everything. I was left by mum with my colleague and friends at my home while waiting for Kak Aida to send my dulang. I got to say my bridesmaid, my 2 guyfriend and my bro really put their effort on my wedding. Syukur Alhamdullilah that I have them!!

So 10 PM : Kak Aida dropped by and send me my dulang after she sent my Then fiance dulang. I was really2 in love with it. Simple but nice. I squeak and hug her for the wonderful dulang!!! LOVE!!!

Alhamdullilah for knowing her! Syukur2!!! :) And I missed her already!! Thumbsup for her svs!! Highly recommend.

SO yeah I am sleepy now. Gonna head to bed. Will continue updating soon abt the day itself!! Good nites!!!

Ikea tripping, Bridal Spa & Gubahan appointment

 Hi Ladies,

HAPPY 2015 & SALAM MAULIDUR RASUL!!

So The clock is ticking damn fast. And I hope that it slow down a lil bit. I am done with buying items I think.
On Christmas day me & mummy head down to Ikea just to see what last minute item we can buy.

IKEA
Since its year end season, Ikea do have prices slash quite reasonable for some item though. We walk around, looking for any item that I can decorate my room. So jalan2 nye jalan, I end up splurging my money on something. Ikea mmg tmpt "Puaka" mesti adanya nak beli. So what I have bought at Ikea;

1st) Table Lamp. Since my bedroom set comes with side table, I decided to have this. Just to give some light & deco to my room.

2nd) Candles. I bought some scent candle. I bought Vanilla & also Strawberry smell this time round. There's alot of scent to choose from. Oh there's a popular brand and abit expensivebrand which is Yankee Candle you may try that out too. Usually I place the candle at my toilet & when I bath I will burn it up. Pretending Im in the spa. My mum & my friend encourage me to buy extra's to put at the room so there's abit of "mood" for newly wed actually tak newly wed pun boleh, coz these idea came from the Kakak2 yang sudah kahwin. So okay lah I give it a try who knows it works.

3rd) We bought some curtains, for the house. Just to make it bright & ceria bunga we chose white. So that even my bilik pengantin have a touch of white. Atleast it doesn't really go out of the colour theme for the house.

4th) I totally forgotten to buy cushion for pengantin lelaki & Tok Kadi to sit, lucky me mum reminded me. After a long walk we finally found something which is comfortable to sit and fit the pengantin butt. Haha. Its actually a chair cushion but who cares once it wrap up we wouldnt know it is from Ikea. Hehe. My aunt ill be decorating the cushion. I'll update once my aunt is done with decorating.

I am actually pretty excited about the katil & cupboard to arrive these coming Tuesday coz I wanted to start decorating my bilik. Skg my bilik like macam rumah sewa all my baju is in the luggage sana plastic bag sini plastic bag arrgghh! Confirm plus chop I penat one, tulah siapa suruh kahwin kan dah penat. Nvd penat2 dulu senang2 kemudian.

GUBAHAN APPOINTMENT - with Kak Aida Gubahan Sweetz Creation

So the 1st day of New year 2015 (I still cant believe it is 2015), I went to Kak Aida house with my mum to send all our barang hantaran to her, as my fiance is the kinda that macam heck care even for payment wise he just give me the money and wanted me to manage the payments like seriously fiance? (Lum kawin dah jadi secretary) Anyway she live at Tampines and it is accessible to me. Kak Aida is a cheerful person, My mum & me feel very comfortable. Actuaally I dun have anything in mine for dulang colour shades. I have something in mind for the bridal room which is apple green.

Since my bridal room is partial room package, my room will be like the picture below. So the pink colour will change to Apple green & the white will remain. I wanted to have a lil pastel pink touch for the small pillow cover and the board at the window. Kak Aida will try but if it doesn't match she will remain as white. She will be coming down this coming wednesday to see the layout of my room.

As for dulang from him to her the pattern will be similar like the pictures but  Kak Aida will change some of the details such as the theme will be green instead and the flower gonna be different. I don't really have the idea what I want so I ask her for suggestions and she really give me "BAM2 POW!" ideas which straight away I fall in love with it. She already shown the rough idea and it is really sweet. You ladies may call me green freak coz GREEN is my fav colour and I want everything GREEN from dias, bridal room deco & dulang will be green. 

And as for me to him, my fiance already emphasise that he wanted blue. At 1st I want songket blue kain dulang, but when she showed me A mirror dulang with a little touch of blue, I find it unique and it suit for guys without much hesitation I choose it.

After all about the discussion Kak Aida & mum talk like they known each other for years. We felt comfortable talking to her. Before I went back home, she advise me to be a little fussy, not lot but a little. Errmmm.. I am not a fussy bride & neither I am a bridezilla. I want to be an easy customer so that both party can communicate and work well. So Alhamdullilah so far so good for all my vendors.

Just waiting for my videography & photography to advise me if my itenaray is okay and if they need further clarifications.

So Spa for Brides. I have Google a few spa which actually quite famous. So I narrow down with 5 of this which is,

Out of these 5 spa I have already tried 3 spa's. I have yet to try Spa Le Kraton & Citra Ayu. I am actually spoilt with choices but in the end I think I will choose Citra Ayu Bridal since The price wise is reasonable and it is just 10 mins away from my home. I can actually walk and I can make appointment 2 days b4 my wedding without worrying as I need not travel far as Thurday night I will be having henna night too. I just don't want to waste my time travelling time. But I have a problem coz on that week my menses will come. It will be quite troublesome if its day 1 to day 3 of menses. If its day 5 to day 6 it is okay coz its not heavy flow. So now I cant booked my spa package 1st because of my menses problem. Oh dear! 

Its okaylah, let just see how it will goes like.

Actually I'm supposed to draft out a wedding speech but end up blogging instead. Its quite tiring to think of wedding errand that I find neverend! Haiya. Oklah btw I am just helping a friend out if you ladies need a reasonable price for wedding cards you can actually look at these fb : G cards & Design.
